Judas: “What are we doing wrong?"

[Dear Judas, following the advice I received in my last message, I read parts of Lorber’s writings, and it is really amazing what I have found, but amazing in the negative sense. Partly, these writings cling slavishly to the gospel according to John. They present a Jesus that I do not recognize as true. On the other hand, one of the writings describes oceans, trees, gigantic men on the planet of Saturn, things that catch my eye as absurd, the products of the fantasy of Jule Verne's epoch.

These messages talk about transplanetary reincarnation conditioned on certain factors, and many other things I had discarded already a long time ago…

However, scanning for some information on the Internet, I found that these writings have attracted a great number of followers, by the thousands and all over the globe. They highlight that the works of Lorber contain a huge number of incredible prophecies, such as the structure of atoms. Of course, they highlight those “prophecies” that can be interpreted as right guesses, omitting the numerous absurdities.

I wonder, what are we doing wrong? How is it possible that these writings raise so much interest, that they are accepted so eagerly, while Padgett’s writings, much more reasonable in my humble opinion, do not achieve similar success? The movement of Lorber and the “New Revelation” maintains its own publishing house, selling their books by the thousands, and apparently is prospering. It is not envy that motivates me to ask, but I rather really would like to know how our work of spreading the Padgett messages could be done more efficiently.]

My dear H___, I will answer your question with another question.

As you know, Jesus has tried, and is still trying, to communicate his message of Love to humanity through different mediums. Moreover, experience teaches us the following:

There are mediums who receive the message, but whose soul condition does not allow the message to pass through. They are those who speak of the anger of God, of the mortification of flash, that some have to punish themselves in order to expiate or to mitigate the effects of the sins of other people. In fact, they are lacking self-love to such an extent, they are so filled with the conviction of being unworthy that they expect to receive punishment, and of course, they believe that all humanity also deserves only punishment. You know this class of "revelations," you know some of the characters that believe or have believed that the way to happiness leads through whiplashes and extensive periods of fasting. Those "guilt-mongers" have done a though job, during centuries, and today, and already for a long time, a great number of people lacks self-love, considering themselves as unworthy and candidates for "hell."

There are other mediums that receive the message, and they subordinate it to their own ideas. The flow of the Master's thoughts, in this case, resembles a river emptying into an immense ocean of preconceived ideas, and the diluted rudiments of what the Master had communicated, leave the pen of those writers, scarcely permitting to make out the original purport of the information.

And there are mediums, too, that serve as more or less clear channels.

Jesus is not the only one trying to communicate his gospel, many Celestial do so. And the result? Of course, it is not as we would like it, but we know the obstacles, and we continue ahead without slackening in our work.

Now I ask you: What are we doing wrong?

My dear H___, the truth of a teaching cannot be measured through the number of its followers. Moreover, keep in mind that modern people sometimes laugh at the credulity of men in antiquity, who believed uncritically in miracles and prodigies of prophets and charlatans. Actually, people's attitude has not changed that much, although many may believe otherwise.

Prophecies of any kind continue attracting the masses, and one-sided blindness allows to zoom into accomplishments and to bury failures under a veil of silence. The question is, if those people seek God and at-Onement with Him, or it they seek prodigies in order to satisfy their curiosity. It is also the question, if people who seek punishment, because in their inner self they believe to deserve such sanction, are in capacity of seeking and finding the true God, who is Father and who loves. First, they have to find themselves, for then to be able to take a step beyond their own confines.

We have already talked many times about false beliefs, and I have told you that beliefs, such as reincarnation or trinity, are actually innocuous. However, those beliefs that take away from men the knowledge of their own worthiness, those beliefs do block the door to the awareness of a greater world. Those poor people, chained in their feelings of guilt, are in the darkness of their own negativity, until they recognize their own value and understand that what God wants is not their dignity, because He Himself has already given it to them. He wants their will and desire to join with Him in that Love that unites all in all.

And with respect to marketing, that doesn't require Celestial advice, don't you believe so?
