Judas: Foretelling

January 21st, 2002 - Cuenca, Ecuador - Received by H.R.

Hello, my dear brother. Do you permit me to explain what had happened at noon?

H.R.: Yes, please do me the favor. I prepared myself to receive a message, and I really did receive something, but it was a strange experience.

Actually, I could perceive some phrases so clearly that I thought that today our rapport was extraordinary good. The "voice" said:

"Mediumship means dedication. It is the dedication of soul and body, and can be dangerous. It requires much trust. You are offering us this dedication, and for this, I want to thank you."

"Why," I thought, "all day long I had the impression that Judas would convey a message on prophecies or predictions of the future, but I was wrong.

And then I realized that I did not see you, I did not see to any spirit. However, I did not feel scared. I only knew that something was different. Then I asked the spirit for his name, but I didn't receive any answer.

In spite of this, it was a pleasant experience, full of peace.

... and then, you pored over this all the time and concluded that it was Jesus, am I right? However, you are not sure.

Well, I'll tell you that it was really Jesus. And I'll also tell you that you made a mistake concerning your rapport. It was bad. Jesus did not come to deliver a message, but only to say thank you, to give you a clap on your shoulder. And so, your bad tuning did not matter so much. What you received was all he wanted to say. There was nothing more. Jesus only "stopped over."
Are you proud now? (Judas laughs)

Nevertheless, what really is correct is your impression that I want to talk to you about the prophecies or predictions of the future.

On some occasions, there were discussions about the capacity or incapacity of spirits of pronouncing accurate predictions. And there are several answers in messages, which have been received, that seem contradictory. On one hand, they explain that spirits cannot predict the future with certainty, that they only have greater knowledge and perspicacity, and therefore, their foretelling is surer. On the other hand, you read of prophets' predictions that cover centuries or millennia, such as the messianic prophecies in the Old Testament.

Another question is how do the prophets or seers on earth receive their information? Are they only charlatans? Or do they have a special vision, the capacity of moving through time? Or are they in contact with spirits that reveal them the future?
Well, in the case of mortals, who try to predict the future, they certainly cannot travel through time, seeing what will happen, but they receive their information through spirits. Those are, then, predictions made by beings who have more capacity of understanding and interpreting current developments than the mortals do. Therefore, their predictions in many cases really come true, but they are never facts that will happen for sure in the future, but facts that have certain probability of happening in the future. As in meteorology, the longer the distance in time, the more uncertain is the result.

Take for example this prophecy from the thirties:

"There falls on the earth on the day 5 of the 5 of fives the blow of stellar fire. It will fall in the regions of Gibraltar and on the islands of the Balkans. Three days there, two days in North America, and finally one day of five hours in the Antilles. The fire will purify."

What day will it be? January 5 of 2055, or of 2155 or of 2555 etc.? Or will the day be May 5 of any year? This is not an exact prophecy, prone to speculation and only assessable positively when the event really happens. Because a possible correct date will always exist in the future. It is an inexact prediction, since it only indicates an event and certain places, but it does not determine the date.

Another prophecy of the same epoch says:

"The freedom of North America will lose its light, its torch will not shine as it did yesterday and the monument will be attacked twice."

It is surprising. It sounds like the attack of September 11 against the World Trade Center, but the accompanying drawing shows doubtlessly the Statue of Liberty.

Alternatively, take for example the prophecy of the fifties that state that within one generation the peninsula of Florida will be submerged under the ocean. This is an exact prophecy, giving a mark of time, a generation, that is to say, approximately 30 years, and a place. In this case, being an exact prophecy, you can evaluate if it has been fulfilled or not. Did Florida disappear in the seventies or eighties?

The cryptic formulation of these prophecies also leaves doubts about their utility. Do they announce the unavoidable? Or are they warnings so that humanity may avoid exactly these calamities?

However, I advise you to not losing much time with these predictions. The present has so many problems, which demand solutions, so that human activity will be better employed in this work than in the useless activity of deciphering these enigmatic predictions.

But additionally to what we have discussed, there is another kind of predictions. It is the vision of the future through the Eyes of God, and it is a true vision. All predictions on humanity's future Messiah belong to this category. But even in these cases, the formulation is so vague that up to now there is no agreement among specialists, which are really authentic ones, and which are only interpreted as such. And in the lack of clarity, you find also the reason for those countless calculations to determine the date of the end of the world, and the countless revisions, when "the unavoidable" has been avoided, leaving naked and bare the futility of the intent.

Man, without the help of spirits, has the capacity of recognizing the dangers of certain tendencies, and the unfavorable outcome that they may have. He has a long experience of thousands of years, allowing him to study the mistaken decisions that unerringly led to catastrophic situations. Nevertheless, they repeat them endlessly. This is why I dare to prophesy that it will still be a long way to an earthly paradise.

Allow me one more word on Jesus' visit. He came to thank you for allowing us to help you. That is what I call humility.
God bless you,

Judas
